If your business is up and running, you must start advertising it. The most simple and quickest way to be noticed is by using stickers, labels, or decals such as custom decals online. Now you might ask, is there a difference between these three? The answer is yes; there is. Though if you get a thoroughly explained answer, you can decide which is right.

Sticker

It can be a label, but not all labels are stickers. They either get printed, created from cut vinyl, or are blank to let you write or draw on them yourself. Choose a sticker made from vinyl or polyester if you want it to last outdoors. A sticker consists of two layers: the decorative layer has adhesive on the back side and a pattern on the front, and the paper on the back, which you take off. A strong sticker can last up to 8 years or beyond.

Label

An informative sticker has instructions or descriptions written on them which aren’t used outdoors and are more suitable for things like address and shipping labels, name tags, or packaging.

Decal

Any decals can be stickers, but stickers are not decals because a decal is a decorative sticker, usually used outdoors like the Firefighter Decals. They can be transported from one surface to another, with three layers: paper on the back, the decal itself, and paper on the front.

Decals aren’t that hard, and if used outdoors, they will last approximately three years. Generally, decals like Boat Custom Decals are formed using an eco-solvent printing process or using a Thermal colour printer with latex inks. Usually, they are either printed vinyl or clear polyester. Vinyl cut stickers are also considered a type of decal. When you want a sticker, label, or decal for your business marketing, you should think about this information to help you make the right choice.
